Curiosity: Why is the OpenBMC layer named "phosphor"

I see "phosphor" shows up all over the place in openbmc.  E.g. meta-phosphor is the OpenBMC layer.

Is phosphor a project name that will evolve with OpenBMC generations or is it forever static?
