ofpath from git still broken

I installed the cogito package, then ran 

cg-clone git://ozlabs.org/srv/projects/yaboot/yaboot.git yaboot-git

Here is the ofpath output:

tidris at G5:~$ /home/tidris/yaboot-git/ybin/ofpath /dev/hda
/ht at 0,f2000000/pci at 5/ata-6 at d/disk at 0:

tidris at G5:~$ /home/tidris/yaboot-git/ybin/ofpath /dev/hdb
ofpath: /dev/hdb: No such file or directory


So, it still looks broken. I assume there is no need to do a ./configure
&& make before using the new ofpath. If that is wrong let me know and I
will try again the correct way.
