Hi....

I have a PowerMac G5 which I am trying to boot via the net (boot
enet:,yaboot). I have tried the binary of 1.3.13 from
http://penguinppc.org/bootloaders/yaboot/, and it does seem to try to
load the yaboot file (I can see this from the TFTP log messages on my
TFTP server), but it seems to fail with:

Loading ELF

RESETing to change Configuration!

read, unknown word, HERE = ffa35bf8

It never seems to get as far as loading the yaboot.conf (no log
messages on TFTP server showing attempted transfer of yaboot.conf).
This has worked fine on my PMAC G4's for a couple of years now, but I
just can't seem to get it to work on a G5.....

I have also tried the yaboot binary from Fedora Core 5 for PPC and I
get the following message:

Loading ELF

RESETing to change Configuration!

$SETENV, invalid number

and again it never seems to get as far as loading the yaboot.conf. (no
log messages on TFTP server showing attempted transfer of
yaboot.conf).

I would be grateful if anyone could help me figure out what I might be
doing wrong.

Thanx muchly in advance.

Chris Bradshaw.
