So I took Tony's patch (it is now can be found here
http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/manulix/scripts/build-scripts/PPFILES/ppfiles-yaboot/yaboot-posix_memalign.patch
) and did some yaboot building.

First time (with the same version of e2fsprogs), I got no more
posix_memalign errors, but printf, fflush, etc. errors still appear
(see attached build_log_1).

So then I tried to get a debug version of e2fsprogs
(e2fsprogs-v1.41.14-136-g2696f25-DEBUG; actually, just built with
--enable-debugfs option to ./configure). Got the same (see
build_log_2).

I suppose, this problem goes to e2fsprogs developer(s). By the way,
how do you build e2fsprogs? I'm using these commands:
http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/manulix/scripts/build-scripts/BUILDCMDS/buildcmds-e2fsprogs

Good luck,
Doug
