Patch lost?

Wolfram,
Bizarre. Yeah, it also shows up twice on patchwork.kernel.org:
2150661 New i2c: Remove unneeded xxx_set_drvdata(..., NULL) calls
2150751 New i2c: Remove unneeded xxx_set_drvdata(..., NULL) calls
That's in linux-arm-kernel and linux-davinci.
My initial thought was the same as yours that the reply to a
"rejected" patch was the problem. ...I can't see anything in the
patchwork code that would do that, though. I also tried simulating
this same thing on my own little test server. There was no problem
getting the new patch even when it was a reply to a rejected patch.
Oh, OK. Here's a really good guess. The patch isn't present in the
LKML project on patchwork.kernel.org either. Lists that the patch
were sent to:
* linux-kernel at vger.kernel.org - Not present (should be on patchwork.kernel.org)
* linux-i2c at vger.kernel.org - Not present (should be on patchwork.ozlabs.org)
* linux-arm-kernel at lists.infradead.org - Patchwork sees (patchwork.kernel.org)
* uclinux-dist-devel at blackfin.uclinux.org - I see replies on
"http://www.mail-archive.com" but not the original
* linux-omap at vger.kernel.org - Not present (should be on patchwork.kernel.org)
* davinci-linux-open-source at linux.davincidsp.com - Patchwork sees
(patchwork.kernel.org)
* linuxppc-dev at lists.ozlabs.org - Patchwork sees (patchwork.ozlabs.org)
No lists serviced by vger.kernel.org got the patch. My best guess is
that the patch had too many recipients and so looked like spam.
Perhaps I should have trimmed down the list? Not in the habit of
sending patches that touch so many files and usually I let
"get_maintainer" decide who I should email (and use "patman" to call
get_maintainer).
In any case, thank you for applying. :)
