patch count?

Is it possible to add a count of patches found by a query to the top of 
the web page?

eg. when I go to my project web page to see incoming patches
I want to know right away how many patches I'm faced with.
Right now it is "4 pages"...

As a maintainer, I'd like to set a goal for myself to get
under some number and stay under that number.

"What is measured, improves"...
