Any traction with the busybox udhcp patches?

have you tried with ISC dhcp instead? I honestly don't know how much 
that adds to our BOOTKERNEL size, but that may be an option if the udhcp 
path is unfeasible.

As mentioned, we absolutely require these patches to be applicable and 
tested on upstream master.
