Hi, on our system we use this to monitor a GPIO for a host crash, and we 
use:

# cat /etc/default/obmc/gpio/checkstop
DEVPATH=/dev/input/by-path/platform-gpio-keys-event
KEY=74
POLARITY=1
TARGET=obmc-host-crash at 0.target
