It will be supported for as long as paulus and I have hardware :) If you
are talking about the 970 CPU, it's fully supported by IBM and will
continue to be as we are still developping/selling hardware with that
processor. Besides, linux still works on POWER3's so ... :)

I think so yes.

I would say current G5 machines still qualify pretty well, at least
until genesi releases their workstation in which case it may become a
better choice. You may want to contact them for infos about possible
release dates.
