That's more likely indeed. You should be able to verify that with

	Option	"BusType" "PCI"

I'm not sure any AGP functionality can be exercised in a hardware
independent way. There used to be a drmtest.c file in the Mesa tree,
don't know what happened to it. There's also a tests directory in the
drm tree, but I'm not sure how useful that is for your purposes. It
sounds like you may be in a good position to write a good test
though? :)
