Installing the kernel zImage and glibc

Your plan of doing a netboot sounds like a good one.   If you need a
ramdisk for your installer, then I suggest making a zImage.initrd
rather than *adding* netboot support to yaboot for rs/6k :-)

You need to (1) set a bootp server (isc dhcpd works, with approprate
config -- set a fixed-address by mac, you can get that either from the
fw menu or from aix lsattr -El eth0).

Put the zImage on your tftp server and point the boot to it.  You can
load an image upto 8M without any boot variable fiddling.

PS: netbooting a zImage is a well tested path :)
