Yes, it works fine for kernel 2.4.22.

I did a little experiment, I turn off the root file system so my kernel(system,..) restart
after 180 seconds. When there was something wrong the there wasn't system restart.
But, ofcourse I CAN NOT be sure that this selince is due an another error or I just can
not see the output.
