Hi,
you might check drivers/ide/ppc and either add some support sw there
or modify existing direct interface initialization, like cpci405ide.c

Since the compact flash is configured for true ide mode, should I
have to modify anything? Shouldn't I just have to specify to the
kernel where the ide interface is located in the memio memory map?
