multithreaded remote gdb on ppc linux

Are there any implementations of multithreaded gdb under remote linux?

Digging through the source I have managed to find, I'm beginning to think
that the answer is no.

I do, however, see some work done under lynx-low (gdbserver)...  Is that a
good starting place for implementing one if there is none thus far?
