regarding MPC 82xx

hi all 
we are writing code for I2C and SPI Driver at mpc 82xx \ board .the 
refrence is mpc 8xx code...but we are not getting any substitute for 
dp_hostalloc() function .\
dp_hostalloc() is used given in commproc.c..for 8xx...
do u know the substitute for 82xx processor
