I'm sure there's a technical term for it but I'm afraid I don't know
what it is.  The main monitor is ok, but on the other two, whatever
gets drawn (the mouse cursor, say, or a popup menu, appears where it
should, and then again a little left and down, and then again a little
more left and down, etc etc.

Does that make sense?  Fwiw the main monitor is Rage II, while the
other two are Rage Pro.
