Hello
I'm trying to use lguest and I don't go far...
wget http://xm-test.xensource.com/ramdisks/initrd-1.1-i386.img
modprobe lg
lguest 32m /boot/bzImage-2.6.24 --block=initrd-1.1-i386.img root!/dev/vda
<snip>
VFS: Cannot open root device "<NULL>" or unknown-block(0,0)
Please append a correct "root=" boot option; here are the available partitions:
Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
lguest: CRASH: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknown-block(0,0)
I think I forgot something, but what?
I then figured that the initrd-img is exactly that: an initrd, so I tried:
lguest 32m /boot/bzImage-2.6.24 initrd=initrd-1.1-i386.img
(yes, no network yet, no block yet)
And same thing, crash.
Thanks for any help
