Hi,

I'm a french student in computer science at the Université Paris Sud XI,
and I'd be interested in working on the CCAN for the Google Summer of
Code.

I'm truly interested about your project, and think I can provide ideas
and code to improve it in many way; there is imho a great potential for
the CCAN, to allow other developers to easily access to high-quality C
libraries.

I'm totally fluent in ANSI C and know how to use various libraries such
as pthreads or bsd sockets. I worked for the X.org Vacation of Code
last year where I created a texture compression and DDS support library,
a work which allowed me to greatly improve my C skills. Since this
work, I developped an OpenGL text rendering library
(http://sharesource.org/project/gtr/, best way to look at my code
style), and work on a multiplayer gestion game (unreleased code since
its gonna be commercial, server and client use ANSI C). I also practiced
C in recent scholar projects (real-time skeleton animation).

I'm currently taking notes about my ideas for the CCAN, and I'll post
them in the next days - meanwhile, don't hesitate to ask me any
question.

Regards,
