http://cell.gotdns.org/pub/vmlinux-2.6.29-rc3.strip does not
need an initrd.

I assume those messages will be seen without any modules loaded, so
you won't need any modules.

There is nothing PS3 specific about this, see your distro's
docs.  Make a new entry, maybe this:

image=/vmlinux-2.6.29-rc3.strip
