[Cbe-oss-dev] Debian Live for PS3 project dead?

Hi using official Debian testing media, trying to install Debian using it's 
included kernel results in the system giving three beeps followed by 
shutdown after pressing the enter key on the keyboard at the kboot prompt so 
for me it is not even installable with the included kernel. As far as 
testing goes, what does one need to look for. Is it possible to install the 
Debian ppc64 kernel and modify /boot/config-2.6.xx to get the official 
kernel working with the PS3 or is it more to it than this? Thanks.
