No.  Those arguments would be consumed by yaboot and they're not passed
onto the booted kernel.  Best to add them to the append line in your
config file.

This can be a little tricky to tease out but basically

boot-file are the args used to boot but /chosen/bootargs are the
arguments passed to the last boot command.  Some OF (all?) may also
include bootargs when autobooting but I'd nee to confirm that.
