Patches for 1.3.15?

Hello Paul,
	I've looked through the patches posted here for the last year and
pulled together a few that I think would be good for the next release.
Actually the patch from me (Revert "Let prom_claim_chunk ....) hasn't been
posted but it fixes a regression, so I hope it's okay to include it:

The others are bug fixes, many have been in Fedora's yaboot for a while.

There are clearly patches posted here but I think they can wait, or should be
in a seperate topic branch.

I've tested these patches on ppc64 (IBM Intellistaion) and ppc32 (MacMini), and
noted no regressions.

Please consider pulling them into your tree.
