Hi folks.
It's been a while since I've posted.
I'd like to let you all know that we have a public facing Simplicity test
network running using the simplicity branch of Elements. You can find
details on the software and configuration on the wiki at <
https://github.com/BlockstreamResearch/simplicity/wiki/Test-Network>.
We will be using this test network as our basis for building quality
assurance infrastructure and tooling against. However tooling to send and
receive Simplicity-based addresses is under development. We expect more
tooling to be available in a few weeks time.
In the meantime, the test network is enforcing all the basic Simplicity
rules including limits on CPU and memory use. Those willing to build raw
Simplicity transactions by hand can use the `sendrawtransaction` RPC
interface of elements.
If any adventurous folks would like some funds, feel free to send me your
testnet address in a private email (do not send it to the list) and I can
provide you with some coins.
