[Quickcall] quickcall on unbuntu 20.04

I rebooted my machine  and here is the syslog. The quickcall only 
flashes red and green lights. The failed glob call
in the last line is suspicious. It appears that some system call 
originating from quickcalld is looking for files in usb/ hiddev*.
Any idea what call that would be?

As superuser I can cd to 
root at cue:/sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:14.0/usb1/1-2/1-2:1.3
but there is no usb directory which is why the glob failed
