Yeah, which is a bit odd.  I've had multiple reports of the volume
knob and buttons not working.  Call and hangup aren't expected to work
but the knob and mute buttons ought to, I'm not sure why they're not.

Um.. I'm not sure what you mean by the "linux source tree".
