Registration captcha

Hey,

Like others [1] I think, I've been having issues with spam
registrations.

I've now made some changes to get a captcha on the registration page,
which I'm hoping might help. You can see this at [2] and the relevant
commits are here [3]. I'll send them to this list shortly.

Maybe this should be something that is configurable, I'm unsure? Any
thoughts on the patches?
