We're delighted to announce the release of Patchwork v3.0.0 ("Grosgrain"):
https://github.com/getpatchwork/patchwork/releases/tag/v3.0.0
The v3.0.0 release mostly focuses on important structural fixes and removal of
Python 2.7, setting us up nicely for future features. For full information on
the options available, you should look at the full release notes in detail. The
below are the highlights:
* Removal of Python 2.7 support.
* Removal of the 'Submission' module in favour of distinct 'Patch' and 'Cover'
models, resolving problems initially introduced in v2.0.0.
For further information on these features and the other changes in this release,
review the full release notes [1]. You can also refer to the documentation for
this release [2].
Our next version is expected to be a minor one, where we'll improve our tagging
support and generally improve on the features present. For more info, or to
provide feedback on this and future releases, be sure to subscribe to the
mailing list [3]
Happy patchworking!

Patchwork is a patch tracking system for community-based projects. It is
intended to make the patch management process easier for both the project's
contributors and maintainers, leaving time for the more important (and more
interesting) stuff. You can find out more on the Patchwork homepage [4], the
GitHub repo [5], or the docs [6].
