Yes, series parsing is still fragile in the presence of parallel
processing of mail. We've only fixed the issue of messages disappearing
entirely.

Unfortunately I haven't had the time or energy to do much patchwork
recently, so it hasn't progressed much beyond what Stephen F (not sfr,
the other Stephen!) and the other patchwork developers have been up
to. But thanks for the reminder - hopefully I'll get to it soonish.
