*reStructuredText series - Markdown works just fine with readthedocs.

Yeah, I'm waiting for a reply to my questions on that series and I didn't want to be blocked by that. If we decide there's a good reason for switching document format, I'll just pipe this through Pandoc.

What about the rest of the series? Could you return the favour and review my patches, please?
