Debugging ignored patches

Hi,

I wonder why a recent mail to the flashrom mailing list with a patch as
attachment was ignored by patchwork. I've seen patchwork pick up
attached patches without problems (well, ocassionally signoffs and
comments inside attached patches seem to have been ignored), and the
mail had a correct Message-Id and didn't contain any patchwork tags.
What would be the appropriate course to debug this? Upload the mail
somewhere? Forward it? Use some special debugging mode of patchwork?
