I'm planning to check out the bundle problems this weekend.

As for performance - we're in the process of moving ozlabs.org to a 
faster machine; hopefully this will address most of your concerns.

There shouldn't be, but I'll make sure that postgres is doing the proper 
'daily maintenance'.
