None that I'm aware of. Jeremy asked for some time to analyse those two
patches, plus the python gui I wrote. Since he didn't give any return back (nor
I saw much commits on patchwork nowadays), I suspect that he is probably busy
with something else.

Do you have any objections about those patches? 

I really need at least the URL fix patch applied, otherwise XMLRPC and my
scripts for using patchwork.kernel.org are completely useless, since the python
returns a void set of patches if it founds any non-pure ASCII character (like
those characters present on the names of some V4L/DVB contributors).
