I guess I could be helpful instead of just allude to it :)

skiboot asm/entry.S has fdt_entry at 0x10 - call with the pointer to the dtb blob in r3, and the right things will happen, and you'll end up in core/init.c where the dtb blob is expanded rather than trying to parse hdat.
