At this point in time you only get one thread, so you should only be trying to 
stop that thread. In my case it was -p0 -c4 -t0, but based on your earlier 
output I'd expect -p0 -c0 -t0 is what you want. If you have the output from 
`pdbg -a threadstatus` at this point it might be helpful.
