I've applied this series, however I've done it by backporting the
patches out of hwmon-next. Please take a look at the dev-6.18 branch.

In the future, if you send backports like this, can you please include
your Signed-off-by, and where appropriate, use `git cherry-pick -x` to
make sure the commit-tracking information appears in the patch.
