Gavin, I saw that you wrote NCSI subsystem, we have intermittent issue on our
aspeed board by some unknown reason -

[64370.881268] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI Channel 0 timed out!
[64370.887968] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI interface down
[64370.894100] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: suspending channel 0
[64370.923031] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: configuring channel 0
[64370.947428] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: channel 0 config done
[64370.947482] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: No more channels to
process
[64370.947511] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI interface up
[187718.883342] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI Channel 0 timed out!
[187718.890099] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI interface down
[187718.896349] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: suspending channel 0
[187718.906581] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: configuring channel 0
[187718.964435] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: channel 0 config done
[187718.964488] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI: No more channels to
process
[187718.964519] ftgmac100 1e660000.ethernet eth0: NCSI interface up

So, as you see channel is timed out and as consequence of this action it's
trying to reconfigure the interface... Do you know any tips how to debug that at
this point? Or you maybe aware of such problem.

I've found this one
https://www.dmtf.org/sites/default/files/standards/documents/DSP0222_1.0.0.pdf
from https://lwn.net/Articles/663748/ . Is there anything else related
documentation which may help to debug?

Thanks.
