Adding items to the inventory

Hello,

We are trying to add items to the inventory.

So far we haven't been able to get this working. All we see is the system item.

We noticed some code is adding static items from the "board_name".py. If we try to do this nothing shows up.

We've based our code on the Intel S2600WF implementation.

At this point we don't have EEPROMs connected to the BMC so even adding static items would be an improvement.

Is the way to handle this documented somewhere?
