R_PPC64_TOC16 not handled in apply_relocate_add

The current toolchain (in opensuse) creates unhandled relocations for
rtas_flash and scanlog:

rtas_flash: Unknown ADD relocation: 47

I think it is type R_PPC64_TOC16.
gcc version 4.0.2 20050901 (prerelease) (SUSE Linux)
GNU ld version 2.16.91.0.2 20050720 (SuSE Linux)

Any ideas how to handle them?
