Yes, that looks very wrong...

You can try to add some debug output to early_init_dt_scan_memory() in
arch/powerpc/kernel/prom.c to see what it does. Anyway, I'll have a look
myself on the G5 here today, as soon as I'm done chasing the bug that
breaks ARCH=ppc on some PowerMacs.
