[PATCH] [2.6] set_preferred_console breaks iSeries

I've pushed the attached patch to ameslab, it breaks building on iSeries.

There's other breakage right now too:

vio.c is not compiled for iSeries, but ibmvscsi needs it for
vio_enable_interrupts and vio_disable_interrupts.

If vio.c is added, it won't build since it seems to rely on OF stuff
(get_property, plpar_hcall_norets, find_devices, etc).
