My more complex test case, when compiled with gcc-3.2 and -O2
still generates a fair number of lfd, stfd., whereas -msoft-float
really makes them all go away.   In fact, almost every/any file
in the kernel, when compiled w/ -O2 but w/o the -msoft flag is
going to have stfd,lfd in it.
