In an effort to avoid yet another debug interface, I held off on adding
flight recorder support into 2.5. I notice it has just got added back
into the cvs tree.

Al, have you looked at the existing projects like event logging? Do they
satisfy your requirements?

Im hoping a combination of event logging and kernel probes will allow
us to remove a bunch of our arch specific debug hooks, like the PPCDBG
stuff.
