Bridge function at Linux 2.4.25

Hi:
     I used Linux 2.4.25 at my custom MPC852T board.I got some problem
after enable 802.1d bridge function.Why?

    Anybody know which version of brctl is suitable for Linux 2.4.25?(I
used bridge-utils-1.0.6.)
