linux for PowerPC

Does anybody could suggest me any free of charge real-time linux distribution or way
to make it for 859T?
We have some options for commercial linux suppliers but first we would like to get
linux running ourself.
Our requirements are "soft real-time" and it would be good if could use a latest
kernel.
The flash we expect to have a 8mb and 16mb of RAM, the eval board is 859T.
