OT: Multiport serial benchmarking

Excuse me for being a little OT, but does anyone have
any software (or driver patches) that will accurately
measure serial port performance, especially in a multiport
(8 or more) environment?

All I can find is this very old LinuxJournal article:
http://www.linuxjournal.com/article.php?sid=1097, and
the ftp sites mentioned in the article are all gone.
The ftp sites used to contain the benchmarking software.
