halt after "now booting the kernel"

Hi!
I'm using hhl2.1 on my Motorola lopec 7410 board. I encounter a problem: when I have the PMC network card on, the kernel can not start, and halt after "now booting the kernel". If have not, everything is OK.
I am confused about it. Could someone help me?
