I think this is a known issue. If I am not mistaken, you will find
multiple threads about it.
Do you use SMC2?

I'm trying to run 2.4.4 on MPC8260ADS.
PpcBoot works fine. After booting the kernel image
(Uncompressing Kernel Image ... OK) there is emitting of weird
