Grr, I hate reading diff -c's.  If I'm reading it right, you say it
should be:
sccp->scc_gsmrl &= ~(UART_SCCM_TX | UART_SCCM_RX);
#ifdef CONFIG_SERIAL_CONSOLE
...

Right?
