about multicast ,pls help me?

hello,everyone,
	I used a MBX board running linux on it,now TCP and UDP are all right,but I can't use multicast(send or recv).I have compiled kernel for multicast,and my program has been tested on Redhat 7.0 (i386).Is there something been lost? Or the ppc823 doesn't providing multicast function? Or the ethnet driver has something wrong?
