Booting Linix on MBX860

I am new in Linux Embedded software. I have an MBX860 board and I am trying
to boot a Linux on it. I have done that using a kernel which boots via TFTP
and using NFS to get the filesystems, but I would like to get an standalone
version. I have created a new kernel image and I have sotred on flash. I
change jumper 4 to boot from flash but the board says nothing.

Need help. Don't know what to do.
